10. Cookies
We use functional cookies, which are always active, and analytical cookies, which are only placed after you have given consent via the cookie banner.
On your first visit to our website you can set your cookie preferences via the cookie banner. You can change that choice at any time using the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of every page.
- Functional — remembers your language choice and your cookie preference. Always active, no consent required.
- Analytical (Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics) — measures how the website is used. Statistics cookies are only placed after consent; see section 11.
- Payment page (Donorbox) — only on the donation page, when you use the donation form; see section 12.
11. Statistics and analytics
We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to understand how our website is used, with Google Consent Mode. Google Tag Manager loads on every visit, but statistics cookies are only placed once you have given consent.
Without consent, no statistics cookies are placed and Google receives only limited data, without cookies and without an identifier that links your visits together — such as that a page was viewed and which browser type you use. As with every connection to an external service, your IP address is sent as well. Google uses this data to estimate website use approximately.
We do not ask for consent for advertising purposes; use of this data for advertising is switched off at all times.
12. Security check and donations
We use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect our forms against spam and misuse. This may involve processing technical data such as IP address, browser data, device data and user interactions. The processing is based on our legitimate interest in keeping our website safe and reliable.
We use Donorbox to process donations. The Donorbox form is loaded on the donation page; it places its own cookies and processes technical and payment data in accordance with the Donorbox privacy policy.
13. Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised alteration.
Our website uses SSL encryption.
